A $50,000 Gift
“We recognize that the support we provide is an essential component of the school’s revenue. It sustains the quality of the curriculum, improves financial aid opportunities, and improves the long-term sustainability of the school. We hope that our support motivates other like-minded members of Pine Point’s community to do the same, continuing to strengthen our bonds to each other and the school.”
For two decades, A.J. and Sue Zimbelmann have been enthusiastic members of our community. Parents of three Pine Pointers—Thomas ’18, Oonagh ’19, Cecilia ’22—their journey began in 2008 when Thomas enrolled in kindergarten. For the next fourteen years their lives revolved around Pine Point: as class parents, as enthusiastic supporters on the sidelines, as active members of the Parents
Association, and then finally as proud parents at three commencement ceremonies.
Since that first day, A.J. and Sue sought out ways to volunteer and serve our community. A.J. is currently on our Board of Trustees, and serves as the Chair of the Development Committee. His thoughtful and kind leadership has been invaluable in the many fundraising activities of the school. Sue is a former Trustee who spent many years chairing the Marketing Committee. Their deep understanding of our institutional mission and their passion for all things Pine Point have helped the school be a better place.
Their gift will support Pine Point’s program—they are especially passionate about keeping the program strong, making sure our faculty are supported and cared for, and strengthening the school for the next generation of Pine Point students.
“Our children benefited in many measurable and immeasurable ways from their experiences at Pine Point. It was the best decision we have ever made on behalf of our kids.”
